Come along to Orange Frog and make a 20cm or 30cm drum lampshade to fit either a lamp or for your ceiling.
I have been making lampshades for years now and so I will pass on my tips and tricks that I have learnt along the way.
Bring yourself and your fabric of choice. I do also have fabric here for you to buy if you'd prefer.
Fabric needed - 1m x 30cm. If you have a certain part of the fabric that you want to include on the lampshade, please make sure you have enough fabric ie if you have a flower that you want to be the centre detail make sure there is enough fabric above and below the flower, totalling 30cm. If you have any questions with this please pop by the shop and I'll be happy to help.
This is a course for beginners so no previous knowledge or skill is needed.
This workshop is on Saturday the 17th January 2026, 12.30pm - 3.30pm.
Location - Orange Frog, 62 Parsonage Street, Dursley GL11 4AA, the space is on the 1st floor, there are stairs only, sadly there is no lift.
